Pictured: Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' last supper... less than two weeks before they announced split

Their sudden split came out of the blue and Tom Cruise was said to be 'deeply saddened' when his wife Katie Holmes announced she was filing for divorce on June 29.
And in newly released pictures which show the happy couple out in public for the last time together, it's easy to see why Tom felt blindsided.
The Hollywood couple were spotted having dinner at a sushi restaurant in Reykjavik, Iceland.

The 50-year-old was in the cold country filming his movie Oblivion, and received a visit from Katie shortly before she packed up and left him.
Images show the pair sat in a quiet corner of quaint restaurant Sushi Samba, facing each other as they peruse the menu.
Both of the actors were dressed casually for the meal, with Katie sporting white leggings and black polo neck while Tom wore a black jacket and matching trousers.

Tom was still in Iceland when news broke of the couple's split and he spent his 50th birthday alone while Katie took their six-year-old daughter for ice cream.

The pair have attempted to continue life as normal without Tom around and Katie has been taking Suri to do an array of activities.
Today the mother and daughter duo were spotted stocking up on groceries at Whole Foods in New York.

Katie looked every inch the doting mother as she pushed Suri around in the trolley.
The Dawsons Creek beauty also carried the youngster in her arms to the supermarket.

Katie, 33, was typically fresh-faced and make-up free and sported a simple outfit of a T-shirt and jeans.
Meanwhile Suri looked cute in a pink knitted cardigan and white shorts.
She also carried an accessory especially for the occasion- her own shopping bag.

The tote appeared to have been decorated by Suri herself, as it was smattered with drawings of stick figures and stars and read ‘Suri’s shopping bag’.
