When most people try on clothes in a store they stick to the confines of a changing room, but not Lindsay Lohan.
The 26-year-old actress was spotted smoking outside a vintage shop in California on Monday wearing a dress that she appeared to have tried on.
Perhaps Lohan had already purchased the dress, and couldn't wait to have a cigarette, or maybe she wanted to check herself out using her reflection in the shop window.

Strike a pose: The redhead had teamed the floor-length dress which black towering heels and a matching summer hat

Either way, the Freaky Friday star still managed to look rather glamorous, teaming the bright green ensemble with towering platform heels and a black sun hat.
The long-sleeved dress featured a white all-over pattern and also managed to show off Lohan's cleavage and left leg with the help of a thigh-high split.
The redhead completed her look with a pair of dark sunglasses as she puffed away on a cigarette and chatted with a male friend.

It was a rather different look to the one that Lohan modelled when she first arrived at the clothes store in Venice.
The U.S. star arrived wearing light blue Levi's denim shorts which she wore with a white lace shirt.
Lohan kept her sunglasses on top of her head and carried a Chanel handbag as she browsed the vintage store with the same guy.

In order to ensure that she got all of her shopping bags home safely, the actress brought along her new black Porsche.
It was reported earlier this week that Lohan was back behind the wheel of another version of the sports car following her car crash last month.
Following the crash she was taken to hospital where she was given the all clear and apparently later told friend that the crash was down to a mechanical failure.
