But Cynthia Nixon wowed during a TV appearance on Extra at The Grove in Hollywood on Tuesday.
The 46-year-old actress displayed some considerable cleavage in a plunging light blue dress for her interview.

The fitted tulip-style attire featured a small slit at the leg and tie-detailing at the front.
Cynthia teamed the ensemble with some tan stilettos and wore a pair of tiny earrings.
The dress was somewhat of a hark back to the actress's Sex In The City days.

Her character of high-powered lawyer Miranda Hobbes often swapped her day suits for sexy plunging outfits.
After her Broadway run in Margaret Edson's Pulitzer Prize winning play Wit - in which she was nominated for Tony Award for her performance as Professor Vivian Bearing - Cynthia has been patiently growing her back to it's longer style.
In the mean time she has added blonde highlights to the short look that luckily for her frames her face nicely.

As Petranilla in the show -  based on Ken Follett's global best selling novels - Cynthia plays an extraordinarily beautiful woman, who poisons her sister-in-law through social ambition.
The series set in the English town of Kingsbridge at the time of the Hundred Years' War with France also stars Miranda Richardson, Ben Chaplin and Peter Firth.

Cynthia is married to education activist Christine Marinoni.
The couple share a son Max Ellington Nixon-Marinoni together after Marinoni gave birth to him in 2011.
