But Marion Cotillard had undergone a swan-like transformation by the time she hit the red carpet at last night's (Thursday) premiere of new movie Rust and Bone.
The French actress looked chic and sophisticated as she showed off her petite figure in a strapless gun-metal grey gown, which accentuated her tiny waist.

Smokey eyes, rosy pink lips and a sweeping top knot finished off the brunette beauty's premiere look as she posed alongside her Rust and Bone co-star Matthias Schoenaerts and writer/director Jacques Audiard.
Wearing no make-up, it was clear the Oscar-winning actress was keen to save the glamour for the red carpet as she wandered through Los Angeles' LAX Airport.

She teamed the ensemble with a pair of bright red ankle boots and a grey Fedora hat as she pulled along her silver suitcase.
Rust and Bone, a French-language drama, follows a character called Ali who leaves Belgium to live with his sister and her husband, and ends up forming a strong bond with Stéphanie, a killer whale trainer, who is played by Cotillard.
And the French star said explained she was thrilled to be playing such a 'sexy' character, telling the Toronto Star: 'The sex and the flesh is really part of the story and it had to be in the movie.
'You know when you rediscover your body, love, life ... there’s something very deep and strong and both characters are, I think, very sexy.'
