That's not very safe! Honey Boo Boo and her family forget their helmets as they pile onto one moving quad bike

It seems the health and safety message has not quite made it to rural McIntyre.
Seven-year-old Alana 'Honey Boo Boo' Thompson and her extended family were pictured ignoring basic guidelines as they piled en masse onto the back of a moving quad bike in Georgia yesterday.

Where are their helmets? Health and safety guidelines don't seem to have registered with the family of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, star Alana Thompson, who all piled onto one quad bike as they filmed their show on Sunday

An accident waiting to happen: The entire family seemed to have squeezed onto the vehicle

They seemed unconcerned by any worries they might fall or be injured, going without helmets.
With two girls sat in front of him Sugar Bear could barely see where he was going, but continued to drive.
At least the girls' mother Mama June decided to sit out the fun. With her bulky frame the quad bike would have been seriously overloaded.
Instead she watched from the sidelines, a towel wrapped around her wet hair.

Thankfully her daughter Anna 'Chickadee', 18, also skipped the ride, sensibly deciding to stay on firm land with her infant daughter Kaitlyn.
Surprisingly Honey Boo Boo later dug out a pink unicorn helmet to protect her hair as she enjoyed the more sedate activity of riding a bike.
Teamed with her bright pink boots and pale pink Major Attitude T-shirt there was no mistaking Honey's favourite colour.

While Here Comes Honey Boo Boo has been criticised for exploiting the 'redneck' family, Mama June recently revealed that it is building her daughters a financially secure future.
The budget conscious 'extreme couponer' has sensibly divided the estimated $15,000 to $20,000 episode fee into equal trust funds for her four daughters and granddaughter.
When Honey Boo Boo and her sisters Lauryn, 12, Jessica, 15, Anna, 18, and Anna's daughter Kaitlyn turn 21 they will receive a sizeable amount of money.

Only if they need money for their education, or healthcare, can the girls access the money before then.

Full time mother Mama June,  explained that she and her partner live off his salary as a contractor. 

The family has made one large purchase since their new found fame - a second hand, seven-year-old Ford Expedition.
