Bulk Fiction: Quentin Tarantino makes waves on holiday with his new girlfriend in Mexico

He won the award for best screenplay for his slavery-themed movie Django Unchained at the Golden Globes. 
And it seems Quentin Tarantino was ready for a well-earned break as he was spotted on holiday with his girlfriend Lianne Spiderbaby in Mexico over the weekend. 
The chubby director showed off his stomach as he jumped from the boat, while Lianne cut a more glamorous figure as she dipped her toes into the water as they enjoyed a day of sailing in the Sea of Cortez.

Wearing a pair of blue swim shorts, featuring a red go-faster stripe the hairy Pulp Fiction director held his nose as he splashed into the water.

Horror writer Lianne looked much less of a fright in a flattering red and white striped bikini.
She showed off her flat stomach as she sat on the side of the boat, putting on a snorkeling mask as she prepared to explore under the sea.

As the couple boarded their boat earlier in the day the 49-year-old wore a baggy white shirt which kept any unsightly bulges under wraps.
Lianne meanwhile wore a pretty black and white Aztec themed jumpsuit while her hair was off her face in a neat bun. 
Quentin and Lianne only went public with their relationship last month but it is clear why they are a match made in Hollywood heaven.

Lianne, who’s real surname is MacDougall, rather than Spiderbaby made a name for herself as a horror film journalist, writing for the likes of Fangoria.
Her first book Grindhouse Girls: Cinema’s Hardest Working Women will be out later this year but she clearly wasn’t doing research for it as she relaxed on the boat.
While award-winning Quentin’s films often court controversy, Django Unchained has been no exception.

The spaghetti Western starring Jamie Foxx, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kerry Washington and Christoph Waltz sees characters use the N-word more that 100 times.
Tarantino defended his inclusion of the word in the script saying: 'They think I should soften it, that I should lie, that I should massage,
'I would never do that when it comes to my characters.'

However he stirred further controversy by using the ‘N-word’ backstage at the Golden Globes in front of shock reporters before saying that the U.S. prison system is 'modern slavery'.
Quentin also raised eyebrows during an interview with Channel 4 News presenter Krishnan Guru-Murthy.
When asked whether there was a link between scenes in his notoriously bloody films and real-life attacks, he snapped: ‘Don’t ask me a question like that – I’m not biting. 
‘I refuse your question. I’m not your slave and you’re not my master.’
The Reservoir Dogs director is no doubt taking time to regroup his thoughts ahead of the Oscars next month, where he is up for five awards.
