Casa time! New parents Shakira and Gerard Pique grin widely as they leave hospital after welcoming son Milan five days ago

They became ecstatic parents when they welcomed their first child into the world several days ago.
And now Shakira and Gerard Pique can revel in their happiness at home.
The stars were spotted on Sunday leaving the Barcelona hospital where baby Milan was born five days ago.

Clearly happy to be heading back to the comfort of their home, both Shakira and Gerard were seen with large smiles on their faces as a car drove them away.
Although Milan wasn't seen in their arms, he was no doubt either being safely transported separately or was being kept safe in the care of nurses.
Either way, Shakira oozed happiness at being a new mother as she made her way back to their new house.
She covered up with a wooly hat and coat, while Gerard picked up his partner in a checked shirt, sporting his own huge grin.

And it was only a couple of days ago that Shakira's parents Nidia Ripoll and William Mubarak were seen arriving at the hospital, alongside Pique.
The trio's visit came after Nidia told waiting reports outside the clinic that Shakira had 'become very emotional and the tears flowed' when she welcomed the little boy into the world.

It was believed that Shakira was being kept in the hospital as her son was delivered by cesarean section, but she has now been allowed to go home.
Shakira and her Barcelona FC footballer beau Gerard welcomed their first child together on Tuesday night.
Announcing the happy news on her official website, Shakira and Gerard wrote: 'We are happy to announce the birth of Milan Piqué Mebarak, son of Shakira Mebarak and Gerard Piqué, born January 22nd at 9:36pm, in Barcelona, Spain.

'Just like his father, baby Milan became a member of FC Barcelona at birth.'
The statement continued: 'The name Milan (pronounced MEE-lahn), means dear, loving and gracious in Slavic; in Ancient Roman, eager and laborious; and in Sanskrit, unification...'
The hospital confirmed that the couple’s first child weighed approximately 6lbs. 6 ounces.
Since the birth, Gerard has kept fans updated about his new baby boy, excitedly tweeting a picture of Milan's first football trainers - complete with his name stitched on the side.
