If the name fits: Lovely Emmy Rossum radiates refinement in a white vintage lace dress at the Mexico City premiere of Beautiful Creatures

In the film Beautiful Creatures, Emmy Rossum plays the villainous enchantress Ridley Duchannes.
At the Mexico City premiere of the flick Monday, however, the actress looked like a modest vision of virtue in a vintage white lace frock with a high collar and long sleeves. 
More old-fashioned wedding dress than red-carpet look, the vintage-inspired gown was very demure with it's heavy white lining underneath the French lace.

French lace: Emmy's dress featured what appeared to be very expensive hand-embroidered lace

The dress was stunning in its detail. It appeared to be hand-embroidered and featured incredibly detailed stitching.
Her jewelry accented the fetching frock perfectly - the 26-year-old classically trained performer wore dangling silver orbs from her ears and a vintage diamond ring on her forefinger in the shape of a flower. 
Emmy enhanced the look with lustrous locks that were smooth back romantically.

Shocking pink: To add a pop of drama to the white ensemble, Emmy dabbed on some colourful lipstick

Her porcelain complexion was effortless and delicate, offset by a swash of bright pink lipstick on her mouth.
Beautiful Creatures is based on the the young adult book by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl. It's the first of the Caster Chronicles series.
The film also stars Emma Thompson, Alice Englert and Viola Davis.

Villainous: In Beautiful Creatures, Emmy plays a villainous witch

The Phantom of the Opera star is more known for her TV show these days than her film roles, however.
She plays the long-suffering Fiona Gallagher on the Showtime hit comedy, Shameless, which also stars William H. Macy as her hapless, drunken father, Frank.
On Sunday she tweeted her fans about her trip south of the border. 'I'm off to Mexico for work but there's an all NEW SHAMELESS on tonight I haven't seen it yet, so you guys are all gonna see it before me!'
