The denim’s made a comeback too! B*Witched opt for daring midriff-exposing rodeo inspired outfits at club performance

They are currently starring in The Big Reunion as they try and reignite their singing career.
And it seems B*Witched are pulling out all the stops to make it work, even if it does mean cracking out the denim again.
The group, who made an appearance at G-A-Y on Saturday evening, shed their former good girl image by wearing various skimpy outfits made from their favourite material, showing off legs, chests and tums.

Taking inspiration from cowboys, the girls embraced their old look whole heatedly while teaming it with lots of plaid.

While all the women, who are in their thirties looked great, it was Lindsay Armaou who stole the show.
Lindsay, who was married to 911’s Lee Brenan, used to take a back seat in the band back in the nineties, but these days it seems she’s really finding her feet.

The singer showed off her enviable frame wearing a cropped top which she teamed with a pair of loose-fitting trousers.
And to even out the sexiness of her top she wore her hair in cute pigtails.
Her other bandmates tried equally as hard with their outfits and showed that some things really do get better with age.

Keavy Lynch also showed off her stomach wearing a plaid shirt tied around her waist, while she also had her legs out in a tiny pair of denim hot paints.
The Irish beauty showed off her pale skin, which looked great in contrast to her dark hair that had been styled in ringlets.
Her twin Edele opted for denim short dungarees, underneath which she wore a cropped plaid shirt, so her slim stomach was also on show.
Happy: The band were delighted about being back on the stage once again

Keeping things a little more restrained was Sinéad O'Carroll, who looked great in a pair of dark denim jeans with a denim shirt which was undone enough so her lacy bra and cleavage could be seen.
Tying in with the plaid she wore a large bow in her hair and she seemed to have had some hair extensions added to her locks.
The group, who split up in 2002, gave a particularly energetic performance cracking out some of their old dance moves.

The C’est La Vie singers recently posed make-up free for Heat magazine and took the opportunity to speak about body image and appearance.
Speaking of their ageing faces, Sinead, 39, said, 'None of us have had anything done – no Botox, no fillers, nothing – so this is to show everyone how we really look.'
Lindsay, 35, believes there is too much emphasis on looking perfect forced upon women at a young age.
Delighted: The hundreds of people at the club couldn't contain their excitement of having the pop band perform

'There’s a lot of pressure, especially on young girls, to look like the really polished version of celebs you see in magazines,' she told the magazine.
'It’s nice for them to see pictures like this.'
For Edele, 33, being picture without her face on was a daunting prospect.

'I wouldn’t ever step outside without make-up. I always like to have concealer, blusher and mascara on.' The singer said.
'When I’ve had my [forehead] scar airbrushed out in the past, I look weird. I don’t like it to be removed,' Edele admitted, 'I’ve had it since I was three, so I’m not me without it.'
B*Witched will begin their UK tour with The Big Reunion on May 3rd in Sheffield.

Flower girl dresses need not be traditional white and fluffy

Tradition has had it in American

culture for decades the standerd flower girl dress uniform. Usually this will be a satin, taffeta, or organza white dress with a fat oversized sash colored with the theme of the bridesmaids dresses. This works well for expensive childrens wear since the sash is usually removable and can be switched out with another color. This allows the girl to wear the dress a second time with a whole new look.
Recently, however, we have seen a new trend in fashion. Happy to say, the old plain white dress is out and sparkle sequin and bright colors are in. We are seeing these beautiful tropical calypso colors in carnival themed weddings. We are seeing rich silver and golds with a glamorous shimmer. Even styles a little more grown up and pageant like are making an appearance.

The cc106 Wanda Dress has been a smashing popular style this season. Currently available in Red and Black, Turquoise and Lime, Purple, Silver, Gold, and Bright Pink. This has been one of the most popular styles that screams.

This style
flower girl dress  is completey new to the wedding theme this season. We have seen these dresses out the door non stop and not just for flower girls. Since they come upto size 14, the beloved junior bridesmaids are able to find their size. The great style is grown up enough for the tweens to feel pretty and not babyish in this modern style.

How to Choose a Flower Girl Dress

Every bride to be deserves to have a great wedding dress which can bring out the best in her on the most special day. There are many choices available to the bride but she must make sure that the best dress is selected which fits all criteria and is according to the latest trends because no bride would want to wear a dress that is not with the times.

Talking of Wedding Dresses 2013 trends in 2013, the one dress that  is going to dominate is the lace wedding dresses. Lace wedding dresses have gained widespread popularity ever since it was worn by Kate Middleton for the British Royal wedding. Lace wedding dresses are not a new addition to wedding dresses and are in fact considered among the vintage dresses and have a long history. However it is the same vintage appeal which adds a sense of timelessness to these dresses so that they never go out of fashion.

Moreover, a lace wedding gown with a great train and a white veil can accentuate the appeal of the bride so much and is considered amongst the most romantic of all the wedding dresses. However, selecting the right type of lace is important as some types of lace can get somewhat itchy and uncomfortable. The type of lace dress most in vogue at present is the French lace and lace wedding dresses are available in sleeved laces, long necklines, figure hugging silhouettes and many other styles.

Other than the dress of the bride to be, it is also important to select elegant dresses for the bridesmaids as they are the ones who walk with the bride and hence must be kept happy and made look elegant. Choosing bridesmaid dresses 2013 is no simple task but it is also very exciting in a unique way. One has to keep several things in mind while selecting bridesmaid dresses 2013 because it is important to keep the individuality of a bridesmaid intact and if the bridesmaid is very style conscious then she must be catered to accordingly. Luckily enough there are a lot of bridesmaids dresses 2013 available for the bridesmaids of today. Many varieties are available but the reigning trend is that of short bridesmaid dresses and the black bridesmaid dresses. The short bridesmaid dresses are ideal for those bridesmaids who like to pep up the style quotient and are a favorite with the amount of designs, styles and materials almost endless. But black bridesmaid dresses are also not far behind as they provide the most elegant look while staying true to traditions, and both these dresses which bring out the best in your bridesmaids.

What's not to like: Gwyneth Paltrow revealed she is more popular than ever since turning 40 in Self

For most actresses it would be the crowning glory of their career.
But Gwyneth Paltrow has claimed winning an Oscar at 26 made other women wary because of her star power.
However it seems the tide is finally turning now she is 40, with the Iron Man star insisting people find her 'less threatening.'

She told Self magazine: 'I feel a sisterhood emerging around me. I’m less threatening now that I’m 40 and not 26-with-an-Oscar.
'They know I’ve been through a lot of pain and suffering – some public, some private – and I keep going.
'Or maybe it’s just that I was the first one who could afford therapy!'
Gwyneth delivered a famously over-the-top speech when she won Academy Award in 1998 for her role in Shakespeare in Love, which was something of a shock at the time as many critics believed Cate Blanchett's performance in Elizabeth was superior.

And the effect of her reaching the top of the acting trade was she found it difficult to make friends.
However this has all changed, and she now boasts friendships with the likes of Cameron Diaz, Beyonce Knowles and Stella McCartney.
No doubt settling down with Coldplay singer Chris Martin has rendered the star, who once revealed the one thing she could not live without is DeGournay hand painted wallpaper, a little more grounded.
In fact her experience as a mother to daughter Apple, eight, and six-year-old son Moses, helped one of her most famous friendships.
Beyonce, who has a 14-month-old daughter Blue Ivy, previously revealed she is grateful to count the Sky Captain And The World Of Tomorrow actress as a pal because she understands the demands of managing a high profile career and motherhood.
She said: 'She is incredible. She's a great friend on every level.
'I think for us, protecting our daughters is so important and ... keeping things on our own terms, so I will still be protective and make sure [Blue Ivy] has a childhood and a great time.'
While her popularity is currently at an all time high, on group she is not on best terms with at the moment is dieticians.
She has just released her cookbook It's All Good, which boast recipes free from coffee, alcohol, dairy, sugar, shellfish, wheat, meat, and soy.
She also revealed she avoids feeding pasta, bread or rice to her children because she believes it is bad for them.
Her decision was based on the fact that everyone in her house is apparently intolerant of gluten, dairy and chicken’s eggs.
London-based public health nutritionist Yvonne Wake said Miss Paltrow was being ‘foolish’ and that she could be doing her children harm.
She said: ‘I think it’s not a good idea, especially because her children are are thin - I’ve seen pictures of them.
‘Kids need carbohydrate because it gives them glycogen which keeps your brain going. Without it they won’t be able to think straight as their brain won’t be functioning and their thinking patterns will be slow.

‘It’s like when kids don’t have any breakfast - they will do less well at school and won’t be able to run around with the other children’.
Dr Carina Norris, a registered nutritionist, added: ‘Far too many people self-diagnose themselves with allergies, or cut out wheat to lose weight, or because they think it's bad for them.
‘Not only are they making their lives difficult, cutting out such an important food group shouldn't be done without the advice of a medical professional, as it could put them at risk of nutrient deficiencies.’
Critics have not been kind either, with Hailey Eber at the New York Post writing: 'The book reads like the manifesto to some sort of creepy healthy-girl sorority with members who use beet juice rather than permanent marker to circle the 'problem areas' on each other’s bodies.'
Esther Zuckerman at The Atlantic Wire said Paltrow's book takes 'laughable Hollywood neuroticism about eating to the next level.'

Lady in Red: Uma Thurman, 42, looked stunning at the Moet & Chandon and FilmAid Asia Power of Film Gala at Clear Water Bay Film Studios in Hong Kong on Saturday

Last month she was voted tenth unsexiest woman in Hollywood by Menkind Magazine.

But on Saturday, the 42-year-old mother of three proved that to be far from the case as she glittered on the red carpet.
The Kill Bill star was attending the Moet & Chandon and FilmAid Asia Power of Film Gala at Clear Water Bay Film Studios in Hong Kong on Friday.

The Pulp Fiction star, who recently wrapped production on Lars von Trier’s Nymphomaniac, wore a stunning red dress, ruched at the waist.
The Gattaca star wore her blonde hair slicked back, and accssesorised with some gold and diamante jewellery.

The Boston born Academy Award nominee welcomed her third child into the world last summer, but looked svelte and glamorous at the event.
Uma is rumoured to have a third installment of Kill Bill in the works with writer-director Quentin Tarantino.

Uma and partner Arpad Busson welcomed baby Rosalind Arusha Arkadina Altalune Florence, nicknamed Luna, in July.

The actress has two other children with her former husband, actor Ethan Hawke, and she recently revealed that her teenage daughter Maya had a hand in coming up with little Luna’s long formal name.

‘[Maya] came up with the best excuse,’ the actress told late night American chat host Jimmy Fallon.

‘I probably wouldn’t get to have any more children, so I just put every name that I liked into it.’

She went on to say that she and Busson had a lot of discussion over the name.

We couldn’t quite agree on the name,’ she said. ‘We call her Luna, so she’s lucky that way.’

Thurman has been dating Arpad since 2007, and he popped the question a year later.

But following their split in 2009 before giving things another go in 2011 it seems the couple are in no hurry to take a walk down the aisle.

Arpad has two sons, Arpad Flynn Alexander Busson and Aurelius Cy Andrea Busson, from his relationship with model Elle Macpherson.

Elle and the French financier did get engaged in 2002 but split in July 2005.
