From boy to man: Grown-up Nick Jonas is a far cry from his teen Disney roots as he steps out at Tony Awards

He made his name as one third of Disney boy band The Jonas Brothers at the tender age of 14.
But Nick Jonas looked a far cry from his teen heart-throb roots as he stepped out at last night's Tony Awards in New York .
The 19-year-old showed off his new short hair cut and a smart grown up suit while posing for photographers on the red carpet in New York.

The star was at the prestigious event to introduce a performance from the cast of musical Newsies - who won two awards for Best Score and Best Choreography.
Despite his tender years, Nick has his own Broadway pedigree - he recently finished a stint in stage musical How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying which ended last month.
Jonas was the third actor to play businessman J. Pierrepont Finch in the latest revival of the musical, following in the footsteps of Daniel Radcliffe and Glee star Darren Criss.

And the star hasn't ruled out a return to Broadway in the future, telling Hollywood Life. 'If the right role comes up and the window works as far as schedule goes. I’d love to come back.'
However, he will be appearing on new MTV reality show Married to Jonas which will focus on his older brother Kevin's marriage to wife Danielle.

'I’m going to be on a few episodes,' he told the website. 'No big story lines or anything. Nothing crazy, but I’ll make appearances here and there.'

Since the Jonas Brothers last album, Lines, Vines and Trying Times back in 2009, the brothers have embarked on solo careers with varying degrees of success.
Nick released an album with his band Nick Jonas & The Administration  back in 2010.
And The Jonas Brothers are rumoured to be writing and releasing a new record later this year.
